Welcome to the Frank L. Gillespie School website.
Gillespie is a technology magnet cluster partner school that integrates technology throughout the curriculum. The school boasts a new state of the art computer lab as well as computer workstations in each classroom. Gillespie encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities through a variety of before school, after school, and weekend programs. Pull-out gifted programs are available to qualifying students in Laboratory Sciences, and Jr. Great Books.
Gillespie also provides tailored programs to students with disabilities. Gillespie recognizes student achievement through initiatives such as honor roll, perfect attendance and June awards assembly.
Gillespie has partnerships with Bonaparte Corporation, Ford Motor Company, St. James AME Church, and the West Chesterfield Association.
The Gillespie School is housed on a beautifully landscaped campus of several acres. Internally the building is exceptionally clean, adorned with numerous colorful, creative, stimulating posters, charts, bulletin boards, and student work. In addition, students are well mannered and present themselves as self-disciplined young people, thus creating an atmosphere of warmth and academic excellence.
